21. September 2018 - Reeperbahn Festival: Parcels mischen Elemente aus Funk, Pop, Elektronik, 70er-Disco und einem Hauch Funk zu einem betörenden und höchst tanzbaren Sound. Hin und wieder ist auch Falsettgesang dabei, und insgesamt bekommt man davon sehr gute Laune – Parcels klingen, als würden die Bee Gees mit Kool & The Gang und den Kings Of Convenience auf ein Surfbrett steigen und einfach drauflos gleiten. Das Quintett ist mehr als eine Easy Listening-Eintagsfliege. Parcels brachten schon viele Clubs zum Kochen, bringen beim renommierten Label Kitsuné ihre Platten heraus und leben inzwischen in Berlin.
