Wegen hoher Nachfrage versuchsweise mal ein Release in 1080p.
Qualitativ kaum von fünf mal so großen Dateien zu unterscheiden,
auch Dank des neuen x265-Codecs, der allerdings nicht von allen Geräten abgespielt werden kann.

Wenn ihr diese Hürde allerdings meistern könnt, bekommt ihr wirklich sehr gute Qualität bei einer sehr geringen Größe.
Ich spreche hiermit also alle an, die wenig Speicherplatz und/oder eine langsame Internetleitung haben;
oder wer sich einfach mal davon überzeugen möchte, dass man auch mit geringen Dateigrößen ein schönes Erlebnis haben kann.

Die Serie „Band of Brothers“ basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Bestseller von Stephen E. Ambrose und beschreibt die abenteuerlichen Erlebnisse der amerikanischen Fallschirmspringer-Einheit von ihrer Landung in der Normandie am 6. Juni 1944 bis zur Einnahme von Hitlers 'Adlerhorst' in Berchtesgaden.
Jede einzelne der dargestellten Figuren hat wirklich existiert, ihre Geschichten werden authentisch wiedergegeben. Schließlich basieren die Geschichten auf Tagebüchern, Briefen und Interviews mit Kriegsveteranen. Ein ehrgeiziges TV-Projekt, dessen detailgenaue Umsetzung stolze 125 Millionen Dollar gekostet hat. Das Ergebnis ist fesselnde, lebendig gewordene Geschichte.
