In this section, the 2x ADCC champion breaksdown the hand position, how to properly switch grips and details for finishing the anaconda choke. ENTERING FROM MULTIPLE SCENARIOS
Once the submission details have been covered, the masterclass then progresses to studying how to enter into the choke from multiple positions. The scenarios are from standing position when countering the opponent's takedown, from the top position and from the bottom position.
TECHNIQUES USED IN LIVE ACTION
The masterclass also includes sparring sequences from Rafael Mendes showcasing the techniques from the series being applied in live action. The sparring section is organized into the following three videos: from standing, from the top position and from the bottom position.
INSIDE THE MIND OF 2X ADCC CHAMPION
The final section of the series provides an exclusive look into the mind of Rafael Mendes and his brother gui, as they analyze his 2009 ADCC campaign in which he competed against Justin Rader, Leo Vieira and Cobrinha. The two discuss the training in preparation for the event, and how they incorporated the anaconda choke into the strategy.
