In a dysfunctional family where the mother is a heroin addict and prostitute, beaten by her son, and the father is an ex-TV reporter, sleeping with his daughter and filming his son being beaten up, ‘Q’, a complete stranger enters the bizarre family, changing their lives for the better, finding a balance in their disturbing natures.
Die digitale Horrorutopie 'Visitor Q' zeigt uns eine Familie im Endstadium. Der Sohn wird von seinen Klassenkameraden schikaniert und lässt die Wut über seine Hilflosigkeit auf brutalste Art an seiner Mutter aus, die sich in ihre Heroinsucht flüchtet. Die jugendliche Tochter schläft mit jedem, der ihr Geld gibt, unter anderem mit ihrem Vater, der daraufhin wahnsinnige Züge entwickelt. Als ein rätselhafter Fremder im Haus der Familie auftaucht, beginnt ein Wandel, der die Familienmitglieder auf groteske Weise wieder zusammenführt...
Eingerahmt in Blut, Muttermilch und Exkrementen schwelgt Regisseur Takashi Miike (siehe u.a. 'Audition' 1999 und 'Ichi the Killer' 2001) in 'Visitor Q' (2001) hemmungslos in einer sozialen Apokalypse, die sich bei genauer Betrachtung als Ansammlung realer Zustände entpuppt.
